A WOMAN has been fined more than £700 after disputing an allegation of speeding on the M27.
Anna-Marie Chrisanthis, 25, company director, of Holywell Close, Swanmore, was clocked doing 70mph in a temporary 50mph zone whilst driving a 16-reg VW on the motorway between junctions 4-5, between Chilworth and Swaythling on April 25.
She was also accused of failing to give information to the police as to the identity of a driver believed to have committed an offence. No reply was received by police to two letters sent to her.
Chrisanthis denied both charges but was found guilty at a trial at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
Magistrates fined her £450 with a £45 victim surcharge and a costs order for £240. Six penalty points were added to her driving licence.
