A HAMPSHIRE village store has closed its doors for good.
The Brambridge Shop is no longer open to the public – the door is covered with white paper and a small sign reading "closed permanently" is in the window.
This comes after a planning application was submitted to Winchester City Council, seeking permission to turn it into a single dwelling.
The applicants are listed only as Mr and Mrs Dalton-Harrison.
The Chronicle has contacted Winchester City Council ward councillor Sue Cook but awaits a response.
