VILLAGERS along a corridor of noise pollution are holding a public meeting next month.

Communities against Noise and Speed (CANS) are campaigning against noisy traffic, mainly motorbikes on the A272 and A32.

The meeting will be on Saturday February 8 from 10.30am-12.30pm at Meon Hall, Pound Lane, Meonstoke.

The aim of the meeting is to provide local residents, and other interested parties, with an update on the progress to reduce noise and speed in the Meon Valley and surrounding areas.

It will be an opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the challenges CANS faces in trying to create an environment which can be enjoyed by all, residents and visitors.
