THE burnt wreckage of a van was dumped on a Winchester sports field.
Left on North Walls Recreation Ground, the vehicle was covered in brightly-coloured graffiti.
It is thought police removed the vehicle after reports.
The Hampshire Chronicle has contacted Hampshire Constabulary and awaits a response.
Those with long memories will recall the torching of several Mini Metro cars at the same sport in the late 1990s.
