THE shadows are still long and the time to ice skate at Winchester Cathedral is rapidly running out.
The last day to skate, and fall over, in the shadow of the cathedral will be on Sunday, January 5.
The German-style market closed last week and the stalls are being removed for another 11 months.
Whilst the skaters are enjoying their last moments, workmen are removing the the sheds, for another year.
