FIREFIGHTERS rushed to cut a woman free from a car after colliding with a pickup truck yesterday.

Crews from Winchester were alerted to the crash at approximately 6.02am which happened in London Road, Kings Worthy.

The woman's roof had to be "cut open" after her car came off the road, according to a spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.

She was handed over the South Central Ambulance Service and the stop message came in at 7.12am.

South Central Ambulance Service and Hampshire police have been contacted for comment.
