A MAN who stole flatpack furniture from Southampton's IKEA store has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Shane Colin Noone stole three boxes of flat pack furniture from the Swedish store, on Westquay Road, on October 1.
He also stole chocolate in the same incident.
The total amount stolen totalled £103.
Noone, 29, of Magpie Walk, Waterlooville, pleaded guilty to one count of theft.
He was sentenced to a 12 month community order, including 40 hours of unpaid work.
Noone was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.
