DINOSAURS may not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think of Christmas, but Winchester Science Centre is not deterred as it announces a brand-new Christmas partnership with the creators of The World of Dinosaur Roar!

The World of Dinosaur Roar! is a new collection of storybooks created by Peter Curtis. Inspired by the classic picture book, Dinosaur Roar! by Paul and Henrietta Stickland, The World of Dinosaur Roar! is produced in association with the Natural History Museum to teach young children about dinosaurs.

Ben Ward, CEO of Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium said: "We want to offer something brilliant and affordable for families to enjoy together and at the same time, spark their curiosity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Many children love dinosaurs almost as much as they love Christmas so we’re having fun combining the two! We have a brilliant team of inspirer's who are experts at communicating science to children and their grown-ups."

Dino Discovery is open for weekends from November 30, and daily from December 19 to January 6. The Santa and the Elves Grotto is open at weekends from 7 December and daily from 19-24 December.

Tickets for the planetarium and Santa and the Elves Grotto carry an additional charge. Save up to 25% on General Admission when booking tickets online at least three days in advance.
