MOTORISTS will experience delays this morning after firefighters rushed to a Hampshire motorway to tackle a car blaze.
Crews from Redbridge and Eastleigh were alerted to the blaze at 7.11am involving a vehicle on the hard shoulder of the M27 heading westbound.
Now one lane has been blocked between junction 3, by the M271, and junction 2, at Ower.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said approximately "50 percent" of the car was on fire.
Both crews arrived at approximately 7.20am and the fire is still ongoing.
