CITY council leaders have announced a new senior position to assess how the local authority can improve its service delivery.
Liberal Democrat councillor Martin Tod was announced in his new role as cabinet member for service quality and transformation by Winchester City Council leader Cllr Lucille Thompson at a meeting on Wednesday, October 23.
Councillor Thompson said: "Councillor Tod has responsibility for service quality and transformation.
"This will be very much a cross-cutting portfolio, where he will keeping a close watch on our key performance indicators and looking at how we can improve our service delivery. Welcome Cllr Tod and I hope you enjoy your time on cabinet."
The appointment takes the number of cabinet positions to eight.
