A MAN has been jailed for attacking a paramedic in Winchester.
James Anthony Lloyd, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted attacking Andrew Tye on October 17.
The prosecution withdrew an initial allegation of threatening behaviour and replaced it with the assault charge, which Lloyd admitted.
Magistrates jailed him for eight weeks saying the offence was serious as it was a deliberate attack on a public servant.
Lloyd was also ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
