A WINCHESTER man has been convicted of driving above the alcohol limit, and the cannabis limit and the cocaine limit.

Callum Henry Wroot, 23, was stopped by officers on Dyson Drive, Abbotts Barton, driving a Ford on April 19, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.

When tested his alcohol reading was 45 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.

His levels for cannabis was nearly twice the legal limit and three times for cocaine. He pleaded guilty to the charges.

Wroot, of Fleming Road, Weeke, was banned from the road for 24 months and also subjected to a community order to do 80 hours unpaid work with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 15 days.

He was ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
