Winchester Poetry Festival, now working towards its fourth biennial festival in 2020, wishes to recruit additional Trustees.

Founded in 2013 the festival is looking to maintain the success and sustainability of the organisation and is seeking new trustees with appropriate experience, skill and commitment to steer the organisation beyond 2020.

If you have a passion for poetry and can make a creative and strategic contribution to the board Winchester Poetry Festival would like to hear from you.

Trustees serve in a voluntary capacity but with the satisfaction of supporting a distinctive and highly-regarded arts charity. The board is concerned with maintaining the festival’s reputation for surprising and delighting its audiences, fostering new partnerships, maintaining a robust financial operation, and broadening the audience base.

Stephen Boyce, Chair of Winchester Poetry Festival, said, “Winchester Poetry Festival brings new audiences to poetry. It does this through a vibrant biennial festival, an annual international poetry competition, a growing programme of education and outreach, publishing and one-off events.”

For further information and/or an informal conversation please email the chairman, Stephen Boyce, at hello@winchesterpoetryfestival.org

To apply please send details of your skills and experience to the same email address with an outline of what you think you could bring to the organisation.

The closing date for applicants is October 31, 2019.
