A WINCHESTER man changed his plea to admit attacking a man in the city centre.
Joshua Anthony Todd, 21, of Lynch Close, Weeke, had initially denied assaulting Dennis Ofusu on Upper Brook Street on April 6, magistrates were told.
But Todd later admitted the attack.
He pleaded guilty to resisting PC Catherine Bonter.
The magistrates in Basingstoke ordered he pay £50 compensation to Mr Ofusu with a community order to do 100 hours of unpaid work, a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days and £200 costs.
