A REVELLER at Boomtown has been fined for possession of cannabis.
Lloyd Moody, 29, of Peverell Road, Poole, was caught with the class B drug at the music festival on August 8, magistrates in Basingstoke heard.
He admitted the offence and also breaching a suspended sentence imposed at Poole Magistrates Court in November 2017 for excess alcohol, possession of offensive weapon, possession of class A and class B drugs.
Magistrates decided not to activate the suspended sentence because of the near-two year gap between offences and Moody's caring responsibilities as he has a disabled mother.
For the cannabis offence he was fined £440 with a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs. For the breach of the suspended sentence the fine was £100.
