A SIX-YEAR-OLD truck-loving city boy has met the delivery van that he had named.
Chase Woods, who has autism, is a huge fan of AO's green delivery vans and spends most car journeys trying to spot one of them on the roads.
Chase’s mum, Jackie Dymer-White decided to get in touch with the firm to let them know about Chase’s car game.
As a result, back in May, the company sent over a real van to his house, along with a special delivery.
But that wasn't all. The firm also named one of its vans after Chase, the first customer to ever have that privilege.
And it paid the six-year-old a visit at the weekend.
David Ashwell, managing director of UK logistics at AO – the man in charge of making sure the vans are out and about, said: “After hearing how much Chase loves AO vans, naming our very first personalised van after him sounded like a great idea, especially after he made our day here at AO HQ. We hope Chase enjoys looking out for his own name whilst playing ‘spot the van’.”
