THE first Winchester City Council meeting to be recorded was hit by teething problems.
The start was delayed by around ten minutes because of problems with the microphones in the Conference Chamber at the Guildhall.
They were sorted and an audio record of the full Council meeting was completed.
The council plans to also record and live stream on the internet meetings held in the Walton Room, such as planning, scrutiny and cabinet committees.
It is part of the New Lib Dem administration aim to increase public participation in local democracy.
