Wilton Road, Salisbury
A MAN seen waving a stick at motorists in Salisbury has been arrested in connection with burglary – and he was also found to be carrying a knife.
On Tuesday, just before 1pm, officers were called to Wilton Road, and approached the 53-year-old man.
When extra checks then took place, it was discovered that he was wanted for several offences locally, including burglary and two separate thefts.
He was then arrested.
Officers then found he was in possession of a knife, and so was arrested for that as well.
He was taken to Melksham Police Station.
