A WINCHESTER road was closed following a two-vehicle crash this morning.
Morestead Road was shut in both directions while police dealt with the incident.
The collision took place near Old Down Lane and diversions are in place.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said they were called at 8am to reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Ambulance also attended and highways engineers dealt with an oil spillage.
A Southern Central Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were contacted by South East Coast Ambulance Service control room at 8.43am this morning informing us of a two car collision on Morestead Road/Belmore Lane, Morestead.
"We sent an ambulance crew to the scene who reported that one person with minor injuries was treated at the scene."
The road reopened shortly before 11am.
