HUNDREDS of protestors took to the streets at the weekend to voice their anger over Parliament being suspended.
Residents of all ages marched through Winchester and Southampton on Saturday bearing EU flags and were carrying placards.
One of the placards said 'Lies, lies and more lies' with a picture of Boris Johnson.
Hampshire European Movement along with other organisations hosted the action morning with the theme "your MP has been silenced" in Winchester.
Peter Hardy, a 72-year-old Winchester resident, said: "I feel very strongly about this once you take away democracy you have a dictatorship and that is what we have.
"I feel I have been a European for 40 years and no one has the right to take it away from me."
Both demonstrations were part of a nationwide wave of protests.
