ALLEGATIONS of racially aggravated assault have been dropped against a Micheldever man.

Thomas Adam Robinson, 29, had been accused of three counts of racially aggravated threatening behaviour and an assault.

He denied the charges and the case was dropped at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.

Robinson, of Andover Road, Micheldever Station, admitted criminal damage to a vehicle owned by a Mr Shah and damage estimated at £807 to a vehicle owned by Mr Hussein.

The magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge and a £20 victim surcharge order.

There was no order for compensation or costs because of limited means.
