A MEON Valley public house is up for auction.

Orders are being encouraged for a village pub and owner’s accommodation at Droxford.

Guided freehold at £450,000 to £500,000, The Hurdles, at Brockbridge, is among 170 lots being sold by Clive Emson, the regional land and property auctioneers in September.

Mike Marchant, auctioneer, said: “The Hurdles is in an attractive location on a plot of 10.24 hectares (0.59 acres) in the beautiful Meon Valley.

“It offers potential for use as a pub/restaurant or for alternative use subject to the necessary consents.”

The Hurdles is being auctioned jointly with Fleurets of London.

Britain's largest independent regional land and property auctioneer, Clive Emson Auctioneers, raised £19 million across the company from 195 lots catalogued for its July auction series – including a record £5.3m raised from Hampshire properties.

Starting at 11am, the regional Clive Emson auction takes place on Friday, September 13, at the Solent Hotel & Spa, Rookery Avenue, Whiteley, near Fareham.
