A HAMPSHIRE man has been fined for a series of thefts of letters and parcels.
Arron John White, 40, of North Hill Close, Winchester, had denied the offences but was convicted after a trial at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
The offences were:
November 14, at Keats Court stole a plant valued at £12 from Lily Murphy;
November 22, at Egbert Road, Hyde, stole a rugby ball valued at £12.49 from a Nigel Bowdery;
Between December 1-26, at Fairfield Road, Fulflood, stole a parcel containing a DVD box set valued at £40 from Steven Willis;
Between December 1-4, at Fairfield Road, Fulflood, stole a parcel belonging to Suzanne Payne;
on May 11 2018 at St Paul's Hill stole tile samples valued at £20 from Charlotte Murrell;
Between July 1-December 12, at Romsey Road stole post containing a card of unknown value from a minor;
November 19, at Sarum Close stole a delivery of fresh food from Charles Tilley;
October 11, at Sarum Close stole a parcel of children's clothing valued at £91 from Charles Tilley;
October 1, on Romsey Road stole a parcel containing 25kg of salt from Helen Pemble.
In total White was fined £162 with a £30 victim surcharge and £100 costs.
There were no orders for compensation because of insufficient information supplied by the Crown Prosecution Service.
