POLICE are hunting a group of men after a BMW was stolen during an overnight theft.
They have released CCTV images of the men they believe have travelled to the Portsmouth area.
The footage shows a group of men trying several car door handles in the area the car was parked, before the blue BMW was stolen.
It was stolen from outside an address in Jay Rise, Salisbury overnight between July 31 and August 1 and later found abandoned elsewhere in the city.
Police would now like to speak to the men in connection with the incident.
PC James Barrett, from the community tasking team, said: “Our enquiries so far suggest the suspects may have travelled to Salisbury Railway Station after the theft, and then caught a train to Portsmouth.
“We want to hear from anyone who recognises the men in these pictures, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the Jay Rise area on the night in question.
“If you can help please call us.”
Anyone with information should call PC Barrett on 101, quoting crime reference 54190075396.
Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
