STAFF at Arqiva at Crawley organised its own Race for Life events for Cancer Research UK.
On the hottest day of the year scores of staff took part in a 5k run in the grounds of Crawley Court.
They even included a member of staff in a seven-foot T-Rex costume and another dressed as Captain America.
It was part of a national initiative involving 250 people that included the firm’s other bases in Yorkshire and Worcestershire.
Steve Holebrook, managing director, Media Networks, Arqiva, said: “When we first thought about organising our own Race for Life, we thought maybe 50 people would take part - but to have almost 250 participate across three sites was an amazing take-up and to raise over £25,000 from one event is fantastic.
“A huge thank you to everyone who fundraised for braving the scorching weather, and to the volunteers who made sure everyone got around safely.”
