A WINCHESTER drink driver has been fined more than £1,000 by magistrates.
Gareth O'Leary, 41, of Ranelagh Road, was stopped by officers on the M3 on July 13 whilst driving a 17-reg BMW.
He admitted being unfit to drive through drink. No alcohol reading was available.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined O'Leary £1,367 with a £136 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months with the ban to be reduced if he passes an approved course by February 29 2020.
