HUNDREDS of people put on their running shoes and took to Southampton Common for the seventh birthday of Parkrun.
Runners enjoyed morning temperatures of up to 18C as they ran around a 5k area of the Common to commemorate the event.
Almost 850 people turned out for the free weekly event with runners starting outside the Hawthorn Centre at 9am, before heading in the direction of the Bellemoor Tavern.
Runners then travel towards the top of Hill Lane, before looping round and returning back to the start line.
