PROGRESS is being made on the new doctors' surgery in Winchester city centre.
St Clement's surgery is due to relocate from Tanner Street to a new building on the corner of Friarsgate and Upper Brook Street.
But the move has been beset by delays with the doctors concerned about some of the terms and conditions.
The issue was raised by a question from Cllr Steve Miller at Council.
Kelsie Learney, cabinet member for housing and asset management, said: "Negotiations with the practice are progressing and it is anticipated that these could be concluded during the course of the next month.
A report will be prepared setting out the provisionally agreed terms and setting out the mechanism for proceeding with the project."
St Clements has around 17,500 patients on its books.
The present base on Tanner Street is owned by Lib Dem city councillor Kim Gottlieb.
