MORE than 300 people laced up their trainers for a charity fundraiser this morning – the biggest turnout in the event's three year history.
The 2019 Walk for Hope saw families, friends and colleagues join at Burley Park, before heading onto the main road to follow either a five, ten or 20 mile route.
Organiser Laura Beavis said: "Wow, what a really impressive turnout! It's amazing that we can bring everyone together on the day, but also to hold events such as these, which are to support and inspire one another."
Walkers were provided with water and snacks along the way, and all met back at Burley Park for a celebration with drinks, food and music.
Money raised from the event will go towards the Wessex Cancer Trust.
