POLICE are continuing to appeal for information about a missing Wiltshire man, who was last seen a week ago.

Robert Dunn, 30, is described as white, with short light brown hair.

Wiltshire Police says it is not known what he is currently wearing, but it believes he may be dressed in either a grey vest or pink t-shirt.

Although he could be anywhere in the county there is a suggestion he may be in or around the Savernake Forest area.

However, a van which he had been renting has been found near Savernake Forest so search efforts have been concentrating on that area.

He was last seen on May 29.

Acting Inspector Pete Foster, from Wiltshire East Community Policing Team, said: “It is now a week since Robert was last seen and we are growing increasingly concerned.

“We have been carrying out a detailed investigation and so far we have nothing to suggest Robert has been the victim of any crime.

“We have deployed specialist search teams to Savernake Forest, due to his rental vehicle being found nearby, so local people should not be alarmed if you see a police presence there during the coming days.

“At this stage we do not want members of the public to join our search, as we have specially-trained police officers and volunteers carrying out this work.

“However, we would urge people to look at the attached photographs and think about whether you have seen Robert over the past week.

“If you have any information then please call police.

“We would also like to appeal directly to Robert – if you are reading this please call someone, a friend or a family member, and let us know you are ok.”
