UPDATE: Two women abducted and raped
Police have confirmed a cordon in place in Watford this afternoon is in connection with a possible abduction.
Officers taped off Osborne Road in the town at around 3pm.
The incident is being investigated by the Met Police and a spokeswoman for the force has confirmed to the Watford Observer that an 'address was being searched in Watford following reports of an alleged abduction'.
Forensic officers are currently in Osborne Road and the cordon remains in place.
A cordon was in place earlier this afternoon from one end to the other of Osborne Road but now only a section of the road is blocked off
The Met Police has not confirmed any more details at this stage but say no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Local officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary were seen guarding the scene at around 6pm today.
