A PILOT has been ordered to pay nearly £5,000 after being found guilty of multiple offences relating to aircraft safety certificates.
Krzysztof Jozef Nicpon, of Meadowcroft Close, Winchester, had denied the charges of failing to produce certificates of registration and airworthiness as both the pilot and operator of an aircraft between July 1 and August 15 2017.
The 57-year-old was also convicted of failing to produce his licence on May 29 last year and producing his flying log book on August 27 2014.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, Nicpon was fined £1,000 for each of the four offences and ordered to pay £786.50 costs and a £100 victim surcharge.
