A COLLISION in Winchester brought traffic congestion to the city centre.
A Ford van was in collision with a park and ride bus operated by Stagecoach that was pulling away from traffic lights onto St George's Street at the junction of Upper Brook Street.
No-one was believed to have been hurt in the incident. It left the bus with a damaged windscreen and scrape damage to the front off-side of the vehicle by the driver's seat.
The police were called to speak to both drivers but it was unclear if any action was taken.
Stagecoach mechanics were called to St George's Street to check over the single decker vehicle.
The bus company and Hampshire police have been asked for further details.
