Basingstoke Magistrates Court
A FORMERLY homeless man has been given a conditional discharge for stealing meat.
David James Thorne, 37, of Jewry Street, admitted taking the food, valued at £69.68, from Tesco on Andover Road, Winchester, on March 23.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered he pay a £20 victim surcharge.
