A MAN has been banned from the roads for two weeks after going nearly 20mph over the speed limit.

Clive James Ross, of St John's Crescent, in Bedminster, Bristol was caught speeding on the A34 southbound at Winchester on September 12.

Aldershot Magistrates' court heard the 63-year-old was caught doing 67mph on the 50mph road at its junction with the A33.

As well as banning Ross from driving for 14 days, magistrates fined him £246, and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
