Armed shoplifter avoids prison sentence
AN armed shoplifter who threatened a man has received a suspended jail sentence.
Billy John Wiltshire, 23, of Shore Lane, Bishop's Waltham, admitted stealing a bottle of Imperial vodka, valued at £12, from a Co-op store on January 17.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of a knife and threatening Lukas Lawrie on the same day.
Magistrates in Basingstoke jailed him for six months suspended for 12 months with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days. He was also ordered to pay £12 compensation.
