DRUG driver James William Read has been disqualified from the road for a year.
Read, 37, of Windermere Gardens, Alresford, was stopped by police whilst driving a 13-reg Vauxhall Combo van on New Farm Road in the market town on January 6.
A test showed he was above the legal limit for cocaine.
Read admitted the charge at Basingstoke Magistrates Court. he was fined £120 as well as a £30 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
