ANOTHER two ponies have been in killed in the New Forest.
A black Shetland mare was badly injured in a hit-and-run collision on the B3055 at Stockley and had to be be humanely destroyed by one of the agisters.
A bay Shetland mare was killed on the B3054 between Beaulieu and Lymington.
The pony was hit by a vehicle despite wearing one of the glow-in-the-dark collars that aim to make animals more visible in the dark by reflecting car headlights.
A bay pony was reported to have been involved in an accident on the C10 near Burley golf course.
The New Forest Verderers say a search of the area was carried out but the animal could not be found.
