ALRESFORD man Nicholas Silburn has been fined for speeding on the A272 at Cheriton.
Silburn, 64, of Winchester Road, Ropley, was fined £153 with a £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs and four penalty points put on his driving licence.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court was told that Silburn's 04-reg Audi was clocked doing 43mph in a 30-zone.
The magistrates had agreed to reopen the case and set aside the previous conviction and sentence. The reason was unavailable.
