There is a chance to have your say on Oldbury on Severn's Neighbourhood Plan.

The Parish Council are holding a community engagement event to gather feedback for the draft plan, currently with South Gloucestershire Council.

They will decide whether an environmental assessment is required before the formal consultation goes ahead.

A decision will eventually be made as to whether the plan goes forward to referendum.

Previous attempts at delivering development in the area, under the guise of a Parish Plan, were unsuccessful. Flood risk and site assessments have been carried out since then, with 14 potential sites reduced to just three.

Barry Turner, from the Neighbourhood Plan working group, said: "The group believe the draft plan reflects what the participating members of the community have said is needed to take Oldbury forward into the future."

"The March 30th event is an opportunity for the community to have a final say before more formal communication is undertaken."

Members of the public can view the plans in the Memorial Hall, Camp Road, from 12-6pm.
