A WINCHESTER driver has been fined for speeding in Portsmouth.
Lee Neil Broadbent, 36, of Thurmond Crescent, Stanmore, pleaded guilty to the offence on the A2047 London Road in Portsea on May 1 last year.
He changed his plea from an initial not guilty.
Broadbent was not present in court to hear magistrates in Basingstoke fine him £70 with a £30 victim surcharge and add three penalty points to his driving licence.
An allegation of failing to tell police the identity of a driver believed to have committed an offence was withdrawn by the prosecution.
