CAST of an upcoming production took their dress rehearsals from the studio to a Winchester motor dealership, and were pictured cruising in a classic car.
Made in Dagenham is set to hit the Theatre Royal stage in May, but the performers took time to visit their sponsors, Hendy Ford in Easton Lane, Winnall.
The latest show comes after last year’s November sell-out, Singin’ in the Rain, and is based on the 2010 film about the sewing machinists strike at the Dagenham Ford factory in 1968.
The society’s adaptation is directed by Wesley Buckeridge, and stars Olivia Conroy as Rita, Lorraine Morgan as Connie and Rob Preston as Eddie.
Performances are set to run between May 22 and 25, with evening shows starting at 7.30pm, and a matinee on May 25 starting at 2.30pm.
Standard tickets cost £20 and can be booked from the theatre’s website, or by calling the box office.
