PUPILS from a primary school were given the opportunity to grill some grown-ups about what they do for a living.
For National Careers Week, Year 5 and 6 pupils at Chiltern Primary School, in Chiltern Way, had the opportunity to ask a chief executive, a solicitor, an administrator, and two electricians a series of questions to try and guess what they do all day.
Dave Watson, an electrician from Sovereign, said: “It was great fun giving the children hints about my job, they asked some really searching questions. Hopefully, we’ll come in again to teach them more about the need for people to work within trades like carpentry, plumbing and electrics.”
National Careers Week ran from March 4 to March 8 and aims to promote opportunities and engagement in education and employment.
