AN Eastleigh man has been banned for drink driving in Bishop's Waltham.
James Peter Broomfield, 26, of Brendon Gardens, Fair Oak, was stopped by police in Bishop's Waltham on November 21 whilst driving a 12-reg Vauxhall Corsa.
His alcohol reading was 149 milligrams in 100 millilitres of blood, when the legal limit is 80.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order for Broomfield to complete 150 hours unpaid work.
Broomfield was disqualified for 20 months ordered to pay £400 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The ban will be cut by 20 weeks if he passes an approved course by March 11 2020.
