A FORMER city councillor is calling on civic chiefs to either sort out or close disabled toilets in the Brooks shopping centre.
Ian Tait spoke at Winchester Town Forum: "The toilets are still out of operation. The council needs to make a decision whether to completely close them or do something about them."
He also said more should be done to promote the statue, Intersection, erected last year next to the Casson Block on St George's Street.
"I hardly ever see anyone stopping to look at it. That is such a missed opportunity. The city council has spent time and effort in getting the statue there but it is completely overlooked."
