A DRINK driver caught three times the limit was stopped by police after they spotted him driving around at 5mph.
Tomas Lazauskas, of Magnolia Road, Southampton, caught the eye of officers after he was seen driving a black Volvo slowly along Union Road, Northam.
They stopped and breathalysed the 36-year-old, whose test showed he had 108mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, the factory worker pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

In mitigation, Joanne Chester said Lazauskas was under stress due to being a father of four and the recent illness of his mother.
She said: “When he met his partner and had their four children he stopped drinking, but recently he’s had a very short relapse.”
District Judge Peter Greenfield said Lazauskas’s breath test did cross the custody threshold. However, he opted to give him a 12-week prison sentence, which he suspend for 12 months.
The judge also imposed a 12-week curfew, monitored with an electronic tag, which prevents Lazauskas from leaving the house between 9.30pm and 5am. He was also banned from driving for 30 months and told to pay court costs and a victim surcharge totalling £200.
