Northam Bridge, Summers Street park
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man grabbed a woman and threatened her at 5pm on a busy road.
The 22-year-old woman was approached on Northam Bridge by a man who asked her if she had a boyfriend.
He then followed the woman into the park between Summers Street and Union Lane where he attempted to grab her.
He said he was "going to have her."
The woman managed to get away and approached some passers-by.
The man left in the direction of Elite Garages.
He is described as black, 5'7" tall, and with black hair.
He was wearing a hat and dark-coloured camouflage jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.
