A WOMAN suffered potentially life-changing injuries after a crash on Allington Lane.

Police collision happened last night (January 11) between a black Vauxhall Corsa and a white Peugeot 108, around 7.20pm.

The driver of the Corsa managed to get out of his vehicle as did a passenger from the Peugeot.

However the woman driving the Peugeot was trapped and had to removed.

The man from the Corsa went to hospital - he has no serious injuries.

The woman driver of the Peugeot was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 7.24 on Friday night when a Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Peugeot 106.

They took the roof and doors off the Peugeot to get the 28-year-old female driver out of the car.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two people from the Peugeot 106 were taken to hospital.

"One person from the Vauxhall Corsa was out when we got there.

"The female 28-year-old driver was trapped."
