HUNDREDS gathered in a Winchester sports hall on the first day of the year for an exclusive antique fair.
The Antiques Collectables and Decorative Arts Fair drew the masses to River Park Leisure Centre in Gordon Road, where the hall had been converted into a market-style venue.
Regular dealers and enthusiasts along with additional traders provided a cheery atmosphere and visitors could wander round to browse the various items on display.
Stall holders offered a variety of items, from crockery to coins, and even antique weaponry.
The fair has been running for more 30 years and it is established on the collectables circuit as one of the best for New Year’s Day.
This year's event was organised by Grandma’s Attic Fairs, which took the reins in early 2018 and has hosted many events in the city since.
On April 2, the next market will be held again at River Park Leisure Centre.
