A WINCHESTER driver has been fined for speeding twice in four days in almost the same place.
Thomas Andrews, 21, was clocked breaking the limit in the Alresford area.
Aldershot Magistrates Court heard that a police officer recorded Andrews, of Greatfield Road, Weeke, driving a 58-reg BMW at 36mph in a 30-zone on the A272, Petersfield Road at Bramdean on July 1.
Then on July 4 just up the road at New Cheriton Andrews was clocked doing 35mph on the A272.
An allegation of failing to give the police information relating to the identification of a driver was dropped.
Andrews admitted the offences and was fined £73 for each offence, told to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £170 costs.
His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
